organization, the Global Country of World Peace. We are
interested in building a cable car or funicular system on one of
our university campuses in the US. I am seeking information
about costs, and researching which system might be best for us.
This is for a campus in the Blue Ridge mountains of North
Carolina. The elevation will span from 2000 feet (elevation at the
base of the mountain) to 4000 feet (elevation of our building
sites) -- so the lift will carry people about 2000 feet over
wooded terrain.
At the top will be a retreat center and health spa. So there will
not be a heavy flow of traffic like at a ski resort.
Can you help me determine costs? Can you help us determine
what kind of system we need?
