few days after my 2week trip to Italian Alps, i will post here my experience (1st in Italy) and also as much photo as possible....
Firts of all let me apologize for English (i could not write in Germans) and also, i have to admit that i dont have so many photos from slopes. When i am at bergstation, i used to take some photo...but when i start snowboarding i usually never stop for photo (except when i fall down)...
So.....
my trip started at 12 Dec. I finished work around 15.00 pm, straight home, and around 17.00 pm. we got the car and drive straightforward to port of Hgoumenitsa via EGNATIA road...
EGNATIA road is probably the only road in Greece which could be compared to autostrada or autobahn, of EU countries....Approximately 320 km from Thessaloniki to Hgoumenitsa, make the distance just 3 hours of normal driving (no more thant 140 km/h). Years ago when it was winter you need double time for this distance (i made it before 6 years almost 12 hours because of snow)....but now...

anyway, we arrived at port around 20.15 with one short stop...wait a couple of hours and then board to CRUISE EUROPA one of the best ships of MINOAN LINES.
The ship is new, fast, clean, with nice doublerooms...(349 Euro, the winter offer for one inside doubleroom with WC, and for the car, both go and return fare)
We arrived at Ancona port around 13.00 pm and go straight to Autostrada without problem....
Around 19.30 pm we arrived at Madonna Di Campiglio (one short break only for benzine)
I choose HotelItalo for accommodation. The week of 12-19 Dec. was freeskiweek, and we paid 395 for 7 nights HB + skirama lift card for 6 days...not bad by my opinion....
I choosed the hotel just by luck...it was nice, family hotel, with P for my car, and near Spinale lift (3-4 m. walking) and almost 10m walking from 5-laghi lift and the village pedestrian center.

The village is very nice, but too much glamour i think. It reminds me Lech. I like very much the fact that lifts starts from village and you could go anywhere with ski/snowboard and return back....i didnt like the fact that i could not find enough athletic shops.
We stayed six nights (depart at 18 Dec for Alta Badia)
The weather was ok, only at 13 Dec a few fog and snow, but not annoying for skiing and the other days sunshine....
Temperature was damned cold....always below 0, from -3 or -4 until -14....but sunshine make things easier...
snow was from 30-40 cm to 100 cm. Grooming was very good...not perfect but very good...
Wartenzeiten almost 8-10 m. max, at 6-chairlift at passo groste....to other lifts almost nothing....slopes are generally easy, but the blue are too easy for snowboarding with very flat points....
The village was full of people from Poland...few from Italy, and rare to meet someone from Germany, Austria etc
So:
+ pretty village
+ skiing until down the village
+ nice weather
+ nice slopes and long
+ very good snowpark
- many people left cigarettes, plastic bottles etc at snow outside restaurants...
One thing i didnt like is the fact that MANY people seemed to be "smart guy"
The tried to go in front of me while waiting for the lift, or when i was at the left side of the slope just beside the trees they tried to go between me and the trees....but only in the easy slopes...they used to skiing fast and dangerous....probably they think that they are Bode Miller...but when i went to red slopes: NO ONE...EMPTY (
any way...a few photo....
