Well...once again we decided to visit Alps...
By car to Igoumenitsa, and then to Ancona with Minoan Ferries.
Then after 5.30 - 6.00 , relaxed driving , we arrived at Vigo Di Fassa.
The photos below are from Catinaccio, Pozza Di Fassa, San Pellegrino + Falcade, and Moena.
We didnt visit Pordoi (Canazei etc) because we want one afternoon for a walk, and i saw SO MANY PEOPLE after the lifts closed, and decided that it was better to stay to the other areas.
Catinaccio is a fine small family resort, nice option for bad weather (fog etc)
In Pozza Di Fassa, we want one day, but even the scenery was very nice, i didnt like it so much.
The best: Passo San Pelegrino + Moena.
Especially Moena, was a perfect resort for improve your skills. Many blue slopes, few red (easy red) and a couple of black slopes. The days we were there was also the Italian National Ski Team and the black slople under the gondola was closed for them
The weather was 50-50
Three days with snow+fog, three days pure sunshine... kaiserwetter ! ! (
)The snow conditions were excellent.
Especially Passo San Pelegrino + Moena even the sunshine and the above 0 temps, in the lower areas.
.... even if i am in love with Austria i have to admit that this was the perfect week...until now....bombardino rules
