near Siena there is this ex-volcano, Mt. Amiata (1730 m.). Mt. Amiata is just inside Val d'Orcia natural Park and slopes go from 1730 m to 1300.

Unfortunately lifts are too old. I think they are the same of '70 years age...
Slopes are too close and short...but for a morning or a a day-ski could goes well.
