Hello everyone.It has been a while since I have posted. Here are 2 model CWA Nova cabins I recently made for a customer.

How did you make those cabins? They are looking great!

Which material do you use, and how do you bend it?

Vacuume forming.thanks.

High impact styryne. .062 thick.all parts are vacuume formed.the pieces are then glued together with styryne cement.center poll for the hangar arm is a machiened piece.

Thanks for the kind words.This one is only half as long as my old one....My old one was 107 feet long and could handle 36 gondolas.This one is 55 feet long and can handle 24 cars.Again thanks for the kind words.

Hopefully this wasn't already asked: Which kind of rope do you use? I think it's a wire cable (Google Translator told me that word, I've tried to translate the word "Drahtseil"), but am I right? Well, and if it's really a wire cable, how did you make it endless?

No.. . I make the gondolas for customers.I keep the fleet of 40 gondolas I had off my old ride. As for the cable wire rope,I use .094 diameter .I splice together like they do on the real ropeways. The cable is a 6x19 with a nylon wire core.I custom make the classic CWA nova 4 passenger cabins for customers.

Greetings from San Diego. Doing some maintance on my ride. Rebuilding 12 sheave towerbatterys.

The new sheave batteries are looking very pretty but i think i had detected a little technical mistake at them...
The main mounting hole at the two shorter brass bars connecting the 4 - and the 2 pulleys group on each side should not be placed in the middle of the bars but at 1/3 of its whole length. Only so you will get a correct weight balancing between the higher load of the 4 pulley group and the lower force the 2 pulleys group offers; this will not be the case if the bore is situated in the bar´s center...

Markus.. I havnt had any problems with them since I made them in 2004. The 12 sheave batterys I have are used on steep slopes. Also with the gondolas carring up to 4 lbs of weight it helps on ballancing.

Robert, the centered bore would not cause any problems, only a bit more upside rope pressure at the two pulley battery parts.

I will try that on the next time I build towerbatterys. Ill half to figure out mounting points as to the arms only have a .018 gap between them. I'm also experementing with a 16 sheave towerbattery.

Maybe the bore correction could get difficult too cause if you will set the bore correctly the head of the screw would collide with the longer connecting brass bar behind... Then you had to raise the distances between the bars and the sheave batteries would need more room too.
