MfG,We are pleased to introduce ourselves as manufacturers of machinery and components for material handling equipments including Aerial Ropeways (Passenger/Material), Cable Cranes (Radial/Parallel) and Vertical Passenger Lifts (Elevators).
We have designed and manufactured ropeway components including large dia. sheaves for modernization of a 13 km long Monocable Ropeway for M/s Diamond Cements, which is in operation. This Ropeway has a bucket capacity of 1 tonne, 250 tonnes/hour. We have also supplied and erected 2 nos. 5 tonne bucket capacity, 85 tonnes/hour Ropeways for Ranjit Sagar Dam Project near Pathankot. Another 1 tonne bucket capacity and 2 tonne hook load 400 meters long Cable Crane has been supplied and erected by us in Himachal Pradesh. Him Cableways is one of the leading companies in India, capable of designing, manufacturing as well as erecting Cable Cranes (radial/parallel-fixe d ends).
Him Cableways is an approved manufacturer of Ropeways for the Indian Army and has installed Ropeways at the most un-hospitable sites at very high altitudes (world’s highest) for transporting soldiers to forward posts and other material, which are running absolutely, trouble free.
After the devastating floods in river Sutlej, we were asked by the H.P. Government to provide river crossings for both men and material, as all the main bridges were washed away. We installed manual and power driven Ropeways on war footing and provided in the shortest possible time.
Ropeways have also been installed to connect hilltop villages where, construction of roads is a very expensive affair. These systems have proved very efficient and are very less time consuming. It is absolutely a boon for the villagers.
Apart from the Ropeway projects, we have supplied, fabricated and machined components for coal conveyor plant of M/s Krupp Industries Limited, Pune and T.R.F Limited, Jamshedpur i.e. Idler Frames, Skirt Boards, Cable Trays, Gratings, Ducting, Foundation Bolts and Rock Bolts for Uri Civil Project. In addition to this we are also manufacturing critical components for Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala and Chennai i.e. Axle Boxes and Buffers. We also manufacture highway-fencing items, which are being exported to U.S.A and other countries. Recently we procured an export order of Shuttering Clamps and Jack Stands for civil construction in Spain. Our products are also being exported to U.S.A, U.K, Malaysia, U.A.E, etc.
A Vertical Passenger lift has also been designed, manufactured and installed by us at Auli in the state of Uttaranchal.
Him Cableways is part of Him Group of Companies engaged in manufacturing of steel forgings, castings, gears and shafts, steel rolling and leather industry. Our products are also being exported to U.S.A, Europe, Malaysia, and U.A.E etc. The group has an annual turnover of Rs 800 million and manpower strength of 1700.
In-house facilities to design, fabricate, manufacture as well as install the Ropeway systems, and a team of experienced design and shop floor engineers, make the operations smoother and faster.
We aim at introducing world class Aerial Cableways for passengers in India. Negotiations are under way for technology transfer with U.S.A, France and Switzerland.
