i loved EVERYTHING in this place....the people, the village, the platz, the bahn, the food, the glacier, the trekking....EVERYTHING (ok...not the prices)
i decided to go via St.Bernard , and i have to admit that the road was nice, scenery and beautifull...
do you know which resort is this? its near Tignes but i didnt understand....

Nur ein Snowboarder kennt dieses Feeling. Und wenn du es einmal selbst gefühlt hast, ist es unmöglich, nicht mehr zu wollen. Es macht so süchtig, dass es eigentlich illegal sein sollte, aber das ist es nicht und deshalb machen sie so gute Snowboards, dass du nach dem Fahren darauf alles verkaufen und in die Berge ziehen willst, weil ein Mann ein Gleichgewicht in seinem Leben haben muss, und dieses Gleichgewicht sollte 80% Snowboarden und 20% Arbeit sein.
Es sei denn natürlich, es schneit sehr stark, in diesem Fall ist es 100% Einsatz - jeder sagt, wenn du erfolgreich sein willst, musst du dich einsetzen - für den Spaß am Fahren mit deinen Brüdern.

But I think you mistook "San Bernardino" pass with "Petit St. Bernard" and maybe "Grand St. Bernard" too. Please be aware that "San Bernardino" connects Italy and Switzerland on the east end of Switzerland. The "Petit St. Bernard", where the ski resorts "La Rosiere" and "La Thuille" are situated, connects France with Italy (i.e. Aosta). The "Grand St. Bernard" connects the Aosta-Valley with the Wallis in the west end of Switzerland.

Cervinia was supposed to open at that weekend, yet the new electrical installations of the cable car to Plateau Rosa were not ready, as far as I know. So they postponed their opening for one week.
Could you see, whether they prepared also the Ventina run towards Laghi Cime Bianche? I suppose - although there might have been enough snow - they did'nt make it, as it would have last for only one week or so...
