Another resort from Greece...
3-5 Pigadia, is near Thessaloniki.
The altitude is from 1.400 (almost) to 2.005 m.
It has one chairlift, and six platelifts (inc. baby-lifts)
Generally a good resort, well organized, with good stuff...
The only resort in Gr with 100% artificial snow for all the slopes.
The problem is that usually the snow is very very hard, almost icy, and because it is close to major cities, its over-crowded.
Filippos slope, is the most difficult in Greece. Steep enough, and very icy, demands good skills..
Generally not my favorite resort...use to make a visit, only when all other resorts are closed due to bad weather or lack of snow...
I went there mid feb.
The snow was from 50 cm to 80 cm.
Very strong wind.
Icy and hard snow.
Weather was a mix...fog, snow,sun, wind....
Many many people (it was Sunday)
