Fern Pass

I will be in Austria this Sunday and have to go to Mannheim.
ViaMichelin recommend to go via Fern Pass. Do you think that i am gonna have problems because of snow etc?
Is it better to go via Munchen in order to avoid Fern Pass?

should be no problem this sunday due to snow...
could be some traffic because of sunday is the last day of the autnumn vacation in the state of baden-wuerttemberg and bavaria.

when travelling to mannheim take the highway "A8 and A5" via Karlsruhe, this is better than the "A8 / A81 and A6" (road construction in progress...)

Fernpass -> A7 to Ulm -> change to A8 direction Karlsruhe/Stuttgart -> A8 to Karlsruhe and then A5 direction Frankfurt / Mannheim.
