I will go to Sud-Tirol for 8 days, during Christmas (18-26 Dec.)
I will stay in La Valle, Wengen before Badia...

How is the access to the village?
I will have winter-tires, but do they usually clean the roads (if there is enough snow)??
Will i have problems with the car?

There are mostly no problems with the roads.
In case of snow they normally clean the main roads early in the morning
and if it is necessary the whole day.

The situation depends on the place of your hotel in La Val.

But generally it is advisable to take some snow chains for extrem conditions!

The hotel (appartment) is in road "Frames"

However, i will have winter-tires on the car, and i will have of course a pair of snow-chains in my car..

I just want to avoid snow-chains...i hope that winter tires will be enough...

Normally, it shouldn't be a problem. Of course, there's always a little chance that you could get into heavy snowfalls though.

of course...i will be prepared (as always), but i don't want to use snow-chains EVERY day...i will have winter-tires but...

i mean: the main roads will be clear...but don't want to have to use snow-chains only for 800m. before our lodging...(as an example)
