Model Ski Area (Netherlands)

Hi everyone,

Few years ago I made a topic about my model ski area in the Netherlands,
using one PB80 with a simple electrical system and RIGI gondolas.

I broke down the old 'Pendelbahn' and created a complete mountain in my garden with 4 ropeways on it:

- Aerial tramway summer 2015
- 2-er chairlift autumn 2015
- 6-er chairlift winter 2015
- 2S ropeway 2016

About the tink with Controlling via Network, do you have thinks like "Seillageüberwachung" implemented,
if the rope derailed when its windy etc.

There are few warning inputs:
- motor temperature high
- rope not in place (using a tilt sensor)
> when the angle changes too much it will give a +5V signal
- emergency stop

Here I have an old picture, today I use plastic/fake grass, but I started with real grass.
I was really a disaster, because it costs a lot of time to cut it.

Hello and nice to see your pictures; i´m happy to see another model builder with great results and much ambition...

@Petz > I am looking for a RIGI DUO bull wheel, do you have one in stock?

LGB - or Rigi parts i never had in stock. But if you need a second example of the yellow bullwheel that you are using at the 2CLF this could be an Jägerndorfer ATW part.
Please check if the inner groove diameter (without the rubber inlay ring) is 100 mm and the outer one 114 mm; in this case i would have one piece in stock from a scrapped JC ropeway station.

Please send me a PN with your address if you would need the part cause i haven´t stored it anymore; probably had been "gone" with my old crashed harddisc many years ago...

For my 2-seater chairlift I have to create about 6 (maybe 8 ) chairs.
Does anyone know how to create some nice looking and functional
chairs? I want to use a JC klem to attach the chair to the rope.

And are opitec wheels good enough when I use a JC klem?

If anyone has some photos or a drawing please show me.

cause he build wonderful double chairs and i used his skills sometimes in the past as supplier for lifts i had built.

I think it would be much more simple if you use JC sheave batteries (can be bought as six pack of four pulley batteries - JC50010 ) cause when you cut off the mounting part and drill a hole in the middle of the balancer they look rather good; also you have the possibility to lengthen them with an additional brass balancer like i did for Af - collegue Andreas´s double tower.

Important is to fit the JC - pulleys with 10x1 mm rubber inlay rings so thet the pulley rope groove get less deep.

Also the Opitech pulleys needs 8 x 1,5 mm rubber inlay rings cause the rope groove is also too deep to.
I will send you a rubber inlay fitted Jägerndorfer sheave battery for testing with the bullwheel package too.

Well done and i like your attractive buildings very much.

May i show you a new prototype for storing cabins and chairs; this is a so called "flat flap chain" (if the translator found the correct words... ) type 06 B-1-M2 that i bought from ZF (Zahnradfabrik Friedrichshafen) running on plastic chain wheels driven by a little 12 V DC gear motor. I widened one hole at each flap up to 5 mm diameter with a tungsten carbide drill so the Jägerndorfer clamps will be hooked exactly in the holes with their little noses - maybe an idea for copying...

I think it is a great system but I want to make my 2S
with a fully automatic garage. I am currently working on CAD
drawings for it, I will post them when they are ready.

Where did you buy the chain and gear wheels? Looks great!

How much do you want for 3 chain wheels (1 with motor),
60 cm chain and 6 positions to clamp a JC chair to the chain?

Hi everyone,

Here I will show you some pictures about the production of a stair, placed
on the 2-seater chairlift mountain station. The stair is made of copper that
I soldered together. After that I painted it silver (2 layers of paint).

Hi everyone,

My Pendelbahn is running! And it works fine!
I used a windscreen motor, controlled by a Siemens Logo PLC,
that communicates with a domotica module. By this module
I am able to control the ropeway by internet, using my mobile
Phone or laptop for example.

For back-up I made an emergency stop on the backside
of the valley station. This switch stops the ropeway and turns
on the emergency lighting + buzzer.

The ropeway has the following functions:
-> start/stop
-> RPM + and RPM -
-> direction
-> automatic mode on/off
-> worklights on/off
-> alarm buzzer on/off

I also placed a picture of a refurbished JC station

Next projects: finishing the JC ropeway and creating a 2CL (before the winter..)

I totally agree and the only proposal would be to widen the 6Cld´s passenger access a bit to ensure that six persons are able to reach each chair...
