do you know, from Munchen airport, which ski resort is most easily accesible by train???

i mean...
-take train from airport (not to have to go to central banhof etc)
-frequent departs...e.g. every hour, every 2-hours etc and return the same
-not many changes (1 or max 2)...e.g. to go to St.Anton you have to change 3 or 4 times...when i have luggages, plus snowboard, ski, boots (and help my wife) it is not so convenient to change train 3 or 4 times...

From the Airport in München you need to take the S-bahn 1 to München Ostbahnhof or München Hauptbahnhof. From those trainstations you have trains to Kufstein-Innsbruck or Garmisch Partenkirchen. I'm not sure if there is any train connection to the Airport of München directly to Rosenheim/Kufstein....

In Austria are the next skiresorts with train accessible:
- Kitzbühel (Kitzbüheler Alpen)
- Brixental (Hopfgarten, Westendorf, Brixen (Skiwelt Wilde Kaiser)
- Zillertal (Mayrhofen, Zell am Ziller)
- St. Anton am Arlberg (Can be done with 2 train changes)

From Munich-Airport to Munich Central Station (for the direction Garmisch, Oberstdorf or Oberland) or Munich East (better for the direction Salzburg/Kufstein) you have to take S 1 (Central Station) or S 8 (Central Station and Munich East) (approx. 30-45 min). Direct train connections from the airport don't exist, there is only a S-Bahn station.

Little ad for my homeland: The airport of Zurich has a train station with national and international trains. The same for Geneva.

There is an international airport in Innsbruck, but I don't know if there are flights from Greece.

GMD i know for swiss airports...from Geneva is very easy to go to resorts in France - Swiss borders...i booked for 12-17 March to Munchen, thats why i asked for that...

PS the is no direct flight from my city to Innsbruck...
