One of the Amusement parks out here in the USA wants to instal a ropeway.Not a modern one.That might be a possibility.The Amusement park wants a classic look.A Vonroll VR101 would be perfect but cant be installed in the USA due to ANSI rules.

Just checked the ANSI page i saw that one part of the rules in the USA is EN 12929; this are the european community´s ropeway standard regulations.
So it´s clear that a Von Roll or Giovanola type ropeway with gravity forced clamps in the future will have no chance in the states too.

Thanks Markus..I didnt know that to see everything it costs money.I would like to see all of the ANSI codes for grandfathered lifts.

The rules are mostly the reason whay the VR and Giovanola lifts had to be abadoned cause one of the regulations forces that a clamp has to pass a derailed sheave battery without troubles and this is just impossible for this type of clamps.
