Also ich Schätze das die Achse sicher bis 5 kg wunderbar hält.
Die Speichen sind sehr dick also würd ich deren Lastgrenze auf mindestens das zwei oder dreifache schätzen.
An Jeffrey´s DSB würden die sicher gut aussehen.

thanks for the comments!the 12 sheave rollerbatteries are percision made.all have blueprints and tight tollarances.each one of the spacers are measured before assembly.next design im working on is 16 sheave rollerbatteries..

thank you for all of the kind words.i dont know anyone that does vonroll vr101 models..a very historic ropeway.in the usa i dont know of ANY model ropeway builders..thanks again everyone..robert san diego..

Think it´s a bit strange or crazy that no european or swiss guy (except Tino in the past) is modelling the Von Roll, Giovanola or PHB detachable ropeways cause we had more then enough origins to view in our neighbourhood...

I fully agree with you Markus..out of all the historic lift manufactures there in germany and switzerland,noone builds models after them..am i the only vonroll vr101 builder left??we are blessed with 2 running vonroll vr101s here in san diego..

I think the problem is that a new Doppelmayr/Garaventa Cable Car for many people is more intresting as a old Vr101 or Giovannola. I mean that many people don`t know what is a vr101. There are more new Lifts than classic old Lifts. So many people can´t ride a classic lift because there are only a few lifts over a large aerial.

Another Problem is that the construction from the stations is very confusingly..

Das Problem ist auch das heute alles nur nach mehr, mehr, schneller usw. geht. Die alten ESLs sind den Leuten zu langsam und unbequem, den Betreibern fördern sie zu wenig Personen... Dasselbe mit den Vr101. Bestes Beispiel: Oeschinensee. Die 2 KSB musste der Garaventa EUB Platz machen.

Wir sind hier aber etwas abseits

if it wasnt for the vr101 by vonroll we wouldnt have the detachable lift technology that we have today..i chatted with a doppelmayr mechanic and he said the same thing..i agree,there are not too many classic lifts anymore,but,i pay tribute every day to the vr101 by vonroll...and yes ,vr101s are more of a chalenge than most other lifts to copy.thats part of the fun on building model lifts...no/yes??
